Dimapur, March 14 (EMN): Football Association Tseminyu District (FATD) was officially formed with “Teamwork, Grit and Honour” as its motto at New Terogvunyu village on March 13.
The association was formed with the endorsement of Rengma Sports Association (RSA) and will b e led by Benlo Thyu as acting president and Asao Seb as acting secretary along with six other members, a press release informed.
The team will lead and facilitate the process of structuring and organising the association, initiate affiliation of the FATD with the Nagaland Football Association (NFA) as well as preparing the groundworks for participation of Tseminyu district team in the upcoming Dr. T Ao inter-district trophy to be hosted by the Mokokchung District Football Association on April 2022.
It further informed that a selection trial for the Tseminyu team is scheduled to be held on March 18 and 19th at Rengma Sports Association Ground, Tseminyu Old town.
Further details on the selection trials will be intimated by the technical team, FATD.
