DIMAPUR — The Tuensang District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) held its monthly meeting under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner A Zibenthung Kithan, at DC’s conference hall, Tuensang, on Tuesday.
The deputy commissioner, in his address, expressed his appreciation to all the departments for their active participation in the Lok Sabha Election 2024. Kithan also requested the heads of offices to remaining in their respective station, a DIPR report stated.
Kedolhuto Punyu, executive engineer of PHED, highlighted the report of recently concluded Nagaland Olympic and Paralympic Games held at Dimapur, in which Tuensang district won nine medals.
He thanked the heads of offices for their valuable contribution in cash and kind and also conveyed his special thanks to the former deputy commissioner, Lithrongla Tongpi Rutsa. Punyu also distributed certificate to the participants of the Nagaland Olympic Games.
During the meeting, Sangthing Khiam, DLRSO, requested those department yet to acquire land patta of their offices and staff quarters to do so at the earliest.
ADC Tuensang, Thungchanbemo Tungoe requested the members to submit government vehicle details for the coming municipal election.
The board also forwarded for the creation of SDAO office at Noksen sub-division. The house further recommended for society registration of Mithun Farming Association of Nyinyem village and SB-GEN Welfare Society, Yangpi village.
