WTC elections: NDPP candidate Murry unveils vision for Etsutchukha
WOKHA — A dedication programme for N Grace Murry, a Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) candidate who is contesting from Ward 6 (Etsutchukha Colony) of Wokha town in the Wokha Town Council (WTC) elections, was held on Wednesday.
Speaking at the event, Murry thanked the NDPP for placing trust and faith in her and assured that she would fulfil her responsibility and duty in shaping the colony as a role model.
She spoke on youth and women empowerment, and shared her vision of setting up an old age home in her colony, emphasising that Wokha district currently lacks such facilities and sought support from her ward members.
John Ezung, president of the NDPP Wokha Region, and Amos Odyuo, president of the NDPP Youth Organisation Wokha, were among the others who spoke during the event.
