DIMAPUR — A three-member National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) peer team visited Japfu Christian College, Kohima, on July 9 and 10 for the third cycle of accreditation.
The peer team consisted of Kotresh M, senior professor at Tumkur University, as the chairman; Dhaneshwar Harichandan, professor at the University of Mumbai, as the member coordinator; and Dr. Pankaj Kumar Debnath, principal of Cooch Behar College, as a member, according to a press release.
With the quantitative metrics of the accreditation process completed and the self-study report (SSR) submitted online by the college to NAAC, the physical visitation and assessment of classrooms, hostels, labs, libraries, and other facilities were completed on July 9.
The peer team also interacted with various academic departments, IQAC members, and stakeholders of the college on the same day.
The team’s visit culminated on July 10 with the exit meeting, during which feedback, experiences, and the submission of the report were shared.
